I LOVE this - 80% of my library is from thrift and yard sales.

Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy is a graphic novel rendition of Little Women. I highly recommend Little Women on audible if you’ve never read it! Either before or after she reads the graphic version.

I bought the Unicorn and Yetti books and The Best Buddies series for my son and daughter. It's by the Acorn brand/company. They are reading level grade 1 too.

Love the Anansi stories ❤ My granddad used to tell them to me as child. He's Jamaican and I grew up believing they were Jamaican folk tales like the Jamaican version of Norse or Greek mythology until I found out they originate from Ghana, in particular, and West Africa in general and must've survived through the generations following our dispersal during the Atlantic Slave Trade.

As I just got my mail that was filled from ThriftBooks….ha! I miss the used bookstore that used to be about a mile away from me. It is really like a fix. We don’t even own library cards.

We learned about Anansi and my kids loved the tale. We made little styrofoam spiders.

I believe the book Meg, jo, beth, and amy changes the story of little women- just fyi. Great haul!

Brittany that was an amazing HAUL! Two of those books I knew from the back cover what they were because they were our daily readers...haha! Grace for President is so good, we actually went to see a reenactment of the book which made the book so much better. I also remember reading Aunt Flo's hats to my two girls and changing the characters names to my girl's name. When they could finally read the books for themselves, they were so upset that someone took their names out of the book 🙃. We had so much fun with that book, I remember us making hats and pancakes (because we are vegetarians) as activities. One book to put on your book list is Duck! Rabbit! My kids are teens and we still argue over that book every time we find it on the bookshelf.

Oh wow that was a great deal for all those books. I read Number the Stars as a kid and begged my mom for money to buy it when the book fair came to my school lol. I still have that book to this day.

You should probably pre-read Sisters. I remember there being some kind of content warning when it came out.

We love thrift store books. Sometimes, I have to avoid buying them all when they are priced so low 😅

Hi Brittany, I love your content. Please research Anansi the spider. I'm not sure of your beliefs, but you may want to research before giving it to your kiddos.❤
