I went through a phase after breaking up with the girl of my dreams (I thought) and I just wasn't that interested in women. Amazingly, they were interested in me, and some of the things you say Dan about being unpredictable, being flirtatious, as well as being perceived as a nice guy I must have been doing, because I went through the women one after another. I never thought I was good looking, and found it confusing when really pretty girls told me they thought I was 'gorgeous' but rejected me when I asked them 'do you want to go out with me'.
