Warhammer 40k is full of CANNIBALS, that's no surprise, but when you start to dive into the lore you begin to see its not limited to just chaos and xenos factions. the imperium of mankind is full of CANNIBALS as well! some reviled by the god emperor's holy inquisition, and others openly celebrated like the blood angles. let's take a deeper look at some of these macob factions and try to get to the bottom of the echlissiarchys aparent hypocrisy

There is actually several diseases in the real world associated with eating human flesh, so I could definitely see the idea that the spiritual poison in Warhammer being some of a twisted evolution on that. Maybe the Death Cults and Corpse Starch involve similar holyish rituals to make it not poison? That's about as important in Warhammer as actual food processing

I haven't played Dark Crusade in years but this video reminded me of the flavor text you get for beating the Chaos forces as Tau. It states that the Kroot auxiliaries that consumed Chaos bodies during and after the battle had to be put down because they started to mutate and go berserk. I don't know if 40K has ever done this but a supply of tainted corpsestarch giving everyone a Chaotic case of food poisoning would make for an interesting story. Honestly just want more on the ground kind of stories like King of Pigs.

I would love for you do a deep dive on some Xenos factions like the Kroot, Jokaero and others. I’m super fascinated with the tech the mad lad monkeys make. It’s probably the niftiest tech in the setting . A ring that turns into a weapon or a personal shield similar to other settings like Dune. Or a video explaining why hand to hand combat is so prevalent in the setting due to things like personal shields, etc.
