well according to gabe follower the anti cheat is top priority for valve unfortunatly they are on a vacation they do every year and thats why we havent seen many updates but honestly i dont want to play the game thats in this bad of a state i mean first it was hitreg and spraying and hitboxes and then now its just cheaters and annoying bugs guess we have to wait 10 years for the game to become good again

I was supreme back in the day when I played a bunch. Fast forward to quitting the game and coming back to try cs2. I deranked from 15k solo queuing to like 10-11k. In legitimately 90% of the games I play it feels like I will be severely outfragging the other team and then randomly halfway through the game one of the bottom frags will just turn into shroud. It’s sketchy to me 9/10 times because you can tell the person doesn’t have any real game sense or understanding of the game, like running jumping 1 taps, pre firing a random ass corner where no one should be in the moment etc etc. it legitimately feels like this game is full of kids who toggle on as soon as they start to lose.
