It's great to see how easy it is to derive more complex shapes and objects (arrows, a sheet, a floppy disk) from basic shapes (triangles, rectangles, circles) and by nesting these to achieve a sense of depth. I like the fast pace, too: the tutorial seems easier to follow and to control when having to slow down the playback rather than speed it up.

Another great Inkscape tutorial! I never thought of using Inkscape this way but it is very interesting the drawings that can be made. By the way, the information on the drawing was quite interesting too.

I like how you keep your written text in a simple notepad, as this can strip a lot of the meta data out of the text that would normally make text look a bit screwy. For example, if I cut and paste text from a website into say, Word, I inherit all that meta data which causes mismatched formatting in my word document. I don't know how important it is for pasting text in Inkscape but it's something I started doing a while ago (i.e. pasting text into a simple text file before copying from there into a document, such as Word to eliminate the screwy formatting issues). I reckon it's a practice worth employing as it can save time and ultimate file size for those bigger documents and graphics files.

3:55 holding shift on the 2 selected nodes to decrease the size of the segment doesn't work for me (Inkscape 1, Windows 10). Any idea?

Thank you for this very good tutorial. I have a problem; whenever I move an object which has gradient color, it loses the gradient. What can I do so as to move objects freely without losing their gradient?

I really can't see what operations he uses like difference, intersection..etc..because it's too fast..even when I make it x0.25!
