Awesome choices. We have done abeka videos and I can't wait to go back to them bc I have been stressing teaching on my own so far. Lol.

Hi! Love to hear more about your Bible time. We love doing our devotional. I read it out loud, ask the 3 questions at the bottom and have the kids repeat the scripture of the day with me. Sometimes we make it into a song or a rap on the spot. It's fun! However Ive been curious for a long time how to best read/study the actual Bible (not a devotional) w an elementary student while keeping their attention and skipping parts that may be too mature for them. Does this mean your family listens to audio, reads 1 chapter together or ??? one paragraph? I hope you dont mind my asking specifically because I wonder how best to to this for a child.
