Every hour or so, the hands on a clock overlap or coincide. The small hand catches up with the big hand and both point towards the same number (i.e. these hands now overlap). A day starts at 12 midnight, which is when the hands overlap for the first time. A day also finishes at 12 midnight (24 hours later), so should you count the final midnight as one of the times the hands align??? You be the judge.
