The company said it discovered unauthorized activity within a third-party cloud database on May 20 and its staff promptly launched an investigation. Ticketmaster account holders are now getting notices about the breach. So, what’s next?

I've never used ticketmaster. If I can't get a ticket directly from the venue, it's not something I need to see or do.

Cyber attacks against businesses that choose centralized setups to store sensitive information are akin to inviting the cyber world to target them. Centralized systems present a single point of failure, making them more vulnerable to sophisticated cyber threats looking to exploit weaknesses for malicious purposes.

You used Ticketmaster because who else? Ticketmaster is skum(it's their monopoly and don't dare trying to open an event tickets business)

How much is ticketmaster paying people to do their job for them? It is their job to keep customers private data safe right?
