Thank you for this great video. This helped me test the sensor on my forklift. It is used for steering position.

Do you have Professional circuit diagram of proximity sensor interfaced with microcontroller using optocoupler ?
1. Microcontroller work on 5Volt and sensor voltage range is 6-36V.
2. Which is the best applied voltage for sensor?
3. do object detection range depend upon applied voltage ?

4. This proximity sensor is inductive SENSOR, so do we need any DIODE in reverse direction between BLACK and BROWN wire ? Its for safety of optocoupler or microcontroller or the transistor you used in explanation ?
5. For safe operation, can we use a transistor to interface at input or output of PC817 ? like you used

Gold leaf electroscope can be changed by a battery or capacitor? If possible please provide a demonstration.
Your videos making my life easier.🙏

What is the use of it . I know to detect metalic stuff but what kind of projects can i use it for ?

my sesor is always on and when it detect a metal it goes low is it possible to make it reversed like only voltage when there is a metal ?

Sir, please provide detail wiring diagram of the entire connection please. I want to build one for my son's project. The power supply wiring to the coil, sensor, resistor, transistor in detail. Appreciate your help.

So the aluminum has a negative inductance at 16 and iron has a positive at 19 from 18. I assume it works for water?
Do all metals have a different measurement? if so then do they sell a element/metal "Type" detector?
if you had a iron core at the center would it detect further away?
I think this might have potential for other things. wih more power and a bigger coil you might be able to detect non metalit objects?

Imagin using this for gold mining or seperating scrap automaticaly due to better sensors.

A very interesting device. Thoroughly surprised I never heard of it. Might need one now! haha

Can the sensor be exposed to a small neodymium magnet without damaging it. If so will the sensor react any different long term as an after effect of the exposure to a magnet. If magnets are not an issue is the sensors range in distance the same if exposed to a magnetized object vs a non-magnetized objuect... Just wondering how it plays with magnets...

Would the sensor work if the bearing were to be enclosed in tubing

thank you very much for this video
please how to use inductive sensor signal with arduino on arduino analog input does not exceed 5v but sensor emits 12v merc

So it only detects metal objects? How about plastic, hands, etc?
I need it to detect all surfaces (metal, plastic, hands, etc) except water.
Can this sensor do that? Thanks

can we give it power supply of 9v 5amp...or ampere should be less then 300mA??

You forgot a resistor tot limit the basecurrent in the npn transistor. You could use anything from 1k tot 10k but never 0ohm!
