I like projectors so much more than TV's because I can do the picture size I want and can jump from one picture size to another. TV's can also overwhelm the room but with the projector I can project on a wall and after I stop watching it the room is clean again.

Thanks for showing the 2500 some love.. I felt like i was the only person that actually had one! All the coverage was on it's bigger brothers.minei sfinally going ot get installed and configured soon by an integrator but I bought it a little over a year ago right when AWOL was bouncing between naming thhe the 3000 the 2500 Pro. I called in and spoke to someone at the company and he reccomended I save some money and get the 2500 since I would be putting it in a theaterish room and wouldnt see a difference really with the 3000 or 3500 brightness. So im pretty excited about it.

The Dolby vision is brighter maybe it has to do with the Daylight screen? Also how do you till if your focus is set on the right position & how to till because I use the actual video and pause a picture then focus?

I got the Awol Alr 120” Cinematic & have it in my garage with some light when I open my garage half way with some lights on it still have some wash out pictures. Should I return & get the Daylight one instead? I feel like I made the wrong choice after the Awol Dave tech or salesman guy told me to buy the Alr Cinematic one instead ..

Hi HELP I’m torn from getting the Alr Cinematic or the Daylight for my garage that I open my garage during the day. I ordered the Alr Daylight one from BB & when I called the AWOL tech guy he said better to get the ALR Cinematic would be better because the 95% light rejection vs 85% from the Daylight one. Idk 🤷‍♂️ don’t makes sense to me but I listen to him since he works for AWOL. He said his customers says so.. What u think? I thought daylight would be better .. maybe the Cinematic has a better contrast darker blacks when on some ambient light.

How’s the ALR daylight look on thd dark room with some ambient light on?

Hi! I have an optoma hd28hdr with a screen bought many years ago from amazon. A cheap one as I remember. The thing is that we are not using it daily, but still I’m thinking of an upgrade. Sometimes we are using it during daytime as well, of course with poor image, but my 10yo is OK with that. :) I use the apple tv 4k and the sony ht-a9 sound system. My main problem is with the setup and all the cables in front of the chairs on a piano stool. :) Unfortunately I cannot fix them on the ceiling. So, what I’m interested in is to have an ust that I can keep on a table at around 47cm height and a 100” floor rising screen. Will the image be projected perfectly from that height? I don’t want to put everything on the floor in front of the screen. On the other hand, due to curent budget constraints, can I still use the current screen with the awol and get a better image than the optoma offers? And will 2500 be ok or should I go with the 3000? And maybe later an alr floor rising screen. Some people say that awol screens are of poor quality, especially the floor rising that develop wrinkles on the sides. And a fixed screen ia not a solution, since the current one is a rollup one. Thank you so much!

can you edge blend 2 of them? AWOL won't respond to my question but I assume you will because you have the ability to get 2. I want to create a large 2.35 image so I think with software and edge blending we can use 2 and create an ultra wide image without needing to invest in an anamorphic lens and long throw setup.

Hi B the alr floor rising screen has it got good viewing angles if your sitting off center and at which angle does it start to get really dark

The 3000 Pro is probably if you're paying that much money the best money to features one you can get especially if you get it in a combo deal with one of these screens
