I believe that social media has had a huge impact on how much women prioritize a man's status when choosing a potential mate. Making a lot of money doesn't mean much if there are thousands rather than dozens of women in her circle who may tell her that she can do better. Since you can't say anything online without at least some detractors, no guy is ever going to be agreed upon as good enough.

This can be an unfortunate circumstance, but we shouldn't let it cloud our lives. Reproduction and libido are hormone driven responses for the species; they offer little true or lasting reward for the individual. I explained it to somebody like this. why is it not a good idea to get with a woman with a high body count? As many psychologists will confirm men compartmentalize while women internalize if you describe a mind between a man and a woman a man's mind would look like a ship with different compartments and sections while a woman's mind would be a river everything is connected. Why is this important? because bear in mind when we say there's always someone better, we really mean there's always someone who's better at a particular thing than you are not necessarily better than you in every way. Many of these concepts or ideas are discussed or explained in abstract terms. In real-world circumstances, what does this topic look like? It looks like this: There's a man there. He looks a lot like you. He's with a woman. He is looking at her. She is looking at her phone and receiving validation from simps while supposedly being in a "relationship" with him. The irony of the hypergamy game is that the tools themselves (smartphone, social media) are the only winners in this instinctual game. It's certainly not men, or even women who now have had their ability to choose a mate compromised through online hypergamy.

Economically and politically, women (generally speaking) favour socialist policies where everyone's needs are equally provided for, while men favour competitive social structures where the fittest are rewarded and prosper. Yet in the mating context, women favour hypergamy (encouraging competition between men, where only the fittest succeeds) and males desire guaranteed access to reproduction (settling for monogamy as a form of sexual communism). Between 2006-2016 I had Chad results in dating.
Between 2017-2021 I had Normie results in dating.
In 2022 I finally became and Incel (kind of by choice but not really)
I didn't get uglier and my finances didn't get worse. What happened was 99% of women got more delusional and priced themselves out of the market. Jordan Peterson is very knowledgeable about the psychology of human beings, but is in denial about the current reality. Even his own daughter succumbed to the hypergamy instinct at a point in her life. You can't take every advice about "leveling" up or manning up seriously because you will still be under the whims of circumstance at the end of the day. The only real advice is to accept reality and make the best of the cards that have been dealt to you. Who knows? Maybe if you stay in the game of life long enough, you'll actually be dealt a decent hand by circumstance.

Coming from an ancient WASP family, it was explained to me that in earlier times not so long ago daughters were encouraged to hypergamy, to bring more wealth and status into the line and sons were encouraged to hypogamy to ensure a healthier, ie. a less inbred, bloodline. A correlative behavior was primogeniture, the eldest son would inherit everything and any other offspring would not. File under Briffault: I married a woman of humble background without even thinking about it. I lost a damnable amount to her in family court, although we gave it a go for 20 years. The new culture determined that my wife should divorce me if she was simply unhappy. She eventually capitulated to the norms of the female collective, not wanting to be left out. Marriage brought zero benefit to me. I married a hard working earner who promptly gave up that ethic after three years of marriage, always vowing to contribute at some later date but never doing so. If youth but knew; if age but could.

Here is the black pill. You fall in love with her, show emotions, marry her, believe she's the one (unicorn) or care much about her you are done. Hypergamy kicks in and think she can do better. So do all the opposite for your safety because hypergamy never sleeps.
