never underestimate a woman's ability to play you. I was messing around with a coworker in my old job, she was 19, I was 26 and even though I had 7 years on her, she still tried to finesse me and manipulate me. It didn't work, was kinda cute, but also shocking how she would straight up lie to my face like the best actor. It was very eye opening.

I grew up with the same illusion. I thought women were virtuous, virginal, creatures. I worked hard at being an upstanding young man who always treated them respectfully. Boy was I in for a rude awakening. They will manipulate and walk all over someone like me, and they did. I hung on to the illusion for way too long because I wanted it to be true. Religion also took hold of me and I held a strong moral ground for many years. Maybe there is some small group of women out there like that, but I have yet to come across them. Looking back, I wish I spent much less time chasing women and much more time working on myself and my own goals.
