Concrete Forming Made Easyish #shorts

1 1/8" 2' x 8' MDO foundation panels. Snap ties and shoes/wedges make forming pretty easy. Concrete work isn't my favorite, but that's just because I'm getting weaker as I age 😂😂

I’ve never seen someone make a groove with the snap tie like that.

We just pours a small wall Wednesday. Traditional 4x8 3/4” plywood forms, and pulling them can be rough when we don’t excavate enough behind them. I’m giving your way a run on the next build.

We don’t call them shoes in Chicago we call the hair pins !! On any union job they are called hair pins

I have aluminum forms, for us work better than wood panels .
