One thing I want to recommend is that when holding the power button and volume down, connect the charger as well. This will force the phone to perform a simulated battery disconnected and will fix a lot of issues with one of the screens not turning on (y)

Paying 1900.00 for a phone with screen issues is not good, especially given that this is their 3rd generation fold.

Had the same issue. Not only on my Fold 3 but also on my Note 10 Plus. I feel like it could have been a Software Update from Samsung that made this happening.

Great if this fixed the problem for good but this is happening several times a day. Who has time to do this restart 15 times a day; not to mention if you need your phone in an emergency, you are basically without a phone. Am I missing something?

My wife has a zfold 3, she prob dropped it once and the frontscreen had many times issues with turning on. It also had some greenish screen when u touched it.

Figured this out:

​ watched a video of a man who breaks the phone conpletly down. There is a cable on the left side of the frontscreen in the middle/halfway Press around that area till u here/feel a click. Restart the phone, issue resolved

Can I ask why the reason why this keeps happening to my fold 3 this is my second replacement, I've completed the steps with the second phone which helps but now it's just doing it on a regular now, it seems as though I notice it happening when I walk away with any windows left opened

The problem I have it that once the screen goes dark, I cannot get it to come back to life w/out having to shut it down or do something drastic that I should not have to do. Is there a way to stop the screen from timing out. I am kinda having a really bad case of buyers remorse w/ this phone.

Hey guys, happy new year to you all.

My Samsung fold 5g, (Left half) of the inner screen light went off, I means exact half of it, while the right light of the inner screen is on wen open the screen, but the whole full screen still torching, I have to be rotating it round to enable me see what am doin on the screen.. Please someone should please advice me on what to do. does this need for me to change the inner screen completely??? I feel lik since it's the back half light that went off, could it be something else from the panel? won't it be the same if i change the whole inner screen?. Rgd Engr Segun

This is the reason why I bought iPhone 13, I’m still holding on to my galaxy s9 plus, Samsung needs to sort out their buggy software updates before charging such premium. The specifications don’t matter when you have bad software.

Hey I have fold 3 and the issue is that the front screen is black and not working but the inner screen is working fine but when I use this force restart method it works on the inner screen and not on the front screen please tell me if it has any solution 😅
