She Wants A “Break”

What you should do if your woman says that she wants a break and starts backing away so you can re-attract her.

In this video coaching newsletter I discuss an email from a viewer whose girlfriend of 2 ½ years recently said that she wanted a break. He was obviously shocked and had no clue that anything was wrong. She came right out and told him to not see, call or text her. However, they already had several events planned together, which they both attended. He says the more he saw her the more he needed her. He didn’t want to let go and constantly tried to change her mind. She said there was no one else. She’s an avid liberal and cannot stand Donald Trump. He voted for Trump. Their sex life has been mostly non-existent since the election. After a week of no contact, she reached out to him saying she was thinking about him and that he did not need to reply. He asks what he should have done because he never replied and is now second-guessing himself.

If they ask for space, this means they are feeling smothered and like they are losing their freedom. If a woman pushes you away and does not want to see or hear from you, you should let her go so she can feel your strength to not be diminished without her and so her feelings can grow for you again. Translation: for 'break' read 'break up'.  There are two main reasons for this common female euphemism.  Firstly, she doesn't want to hurt your feelings and potentially cause you to react badly.   Secondly, she does not want to burn her boats, in case she changes her mind later.  Women like to keep their options open and will often try to keep men - including exes,   in backup position.  Once the monkey branching starts, it's best to walk away and get on with your life.   Thanks to Corey's principles, I have had the experience of girls re-contacting me, but having moved on, had no interest in re-kindling things.  The best attitude is 'She's had her chance, but she blew it'.

My girl came to the conclusion that she wants us to have a Break. She admitted to not being a good GF and more distant recently. She explained how she was tied up with school, work, clinicals, her 2 families and me. I gave her the "get back to me when your schedule frees up" spill and she took it. No contact works, radio silence works. My GF told me she wanted a break and then a week after broke up with me. I was crushed but I found these videos and started working out and I went on a date with another girl. I went to my families cabin to hunt for 10 days and I don’t get cell service. When I got back to town she had been texting me and calling me like crazy saying she made a hide mistake! I did my own thing, didn’t worry about her or big her and she came back. Move on gentleman and you’ll be okay. If she comes back it’ll be YOUR choice if you want her back!

You know what's sad? I read the book, dedicated myself to being an alpha, and I attracted a boatload of women before I found my current girlfriend. Somewhere along the way, I must have slipped up, for I am in the same situation right now. Fucking sad. At least I managed to clear the air and agree somewhat gracefully to no contact. Now the waiting begins. First few days have been shit, but I'll take the advice again. I'm composed enough now to start working on it. It's gym time...

Makes no sense. I'm more hurt that I feel lied to rather than a heart ache.
