Heya! Dev of Steam 'n Rails and Create: Numismatics here, thanks for showcasing our new mod! It's been in development behind the scenes for about 9 months now, so we're so happy to see everyone enjoying it so much. In the future there will be proper ponders to explain the various blocks, but in the meantime my hastily written tooltips will have to do :P. As for how you obtain money - we didn't want to include a method by default as most methods would lead to infinite inflation or no growth at all, so we decided to leave it up to the server owners to add quests, item drops, loot table rewards, etc for the various coins you can obtain so that each server can regulate its own economy. Thank you for the wonderful video as always, and keep up the great work!

Trapping blazes in cages to spend their entire lives sitting there and performing menial tasks is just what Create players do

We're planning to make the 'item to sell' slot in the vendors work like Create's filters, but we didn't want to do that right before release and accidentally make dupe bugs. Devs are pretty busy right now with life stuff, but we'll be pushing out QOL updates in the not-too-distant future

Cards teleporting the money from the vendors to the bank accounts are of course really useful, but what would be really cool is that if we had to transport the money via for example trains, and that means train robberies, armoured trains, trains, and all sorts of that kind of stuff

I love how create has proably become one of the mods with the most addons ever lol

One idea that I had that I don't have any skills to achieve was to have the ability to construct and sell multiblock structures.
Like I love the idea of making a Create factory that just manufactures like airplanes for example.
Numismatics introduces the currency system, and a bunch of other mods have multiblock structures so that's possible.

If I put this on a server I'd make it a diamond-backed currency, so I'd have some sort of central terminal where you can exchange 1 diamond for 1 cog, and vice versa, staking the value of a cog on that of a diamond. Representative money is always more stable than fiat money, which is what this would be if you just handed it out from an admin. Obviously it'll still undergo inflation as players advance, but it'd still be relatively stable.

9:16 You want the door to keep open until someone enters and then immediately clonse. Create has a Powered Latch redstone block (single block RS flipflop). Also place tripwire behind the door. The depositor is connected to the rear (Set) input, the tripwire is connected to the side (Reset) input, and the door is connected to the output.

dude this looks so incredibly fun, especially the block that emits a pulse. i can think of so many applications where you need to pay to access something. i wish i had like 30 friends so i could have a functioning economy in minecraft

This is very cool, there are more and more interesting additions to create. I hope that one day we can see a version of crate similar to security craft, more focused on alarm mechanisms and other mechanisms to defend your base.

I wanted to make a modpack about becoming the 1% but didn't have any way to work well with any of the other money mods and now this solved all of that.
