Otto Secret Mount Guide - Dragonflight WoW

This is a guide on how to get Otto the ottuk mount. This is a secret mount that was recently discovered. It will require you to obtain a gold coin of the isles to trade in for an immaculate bag, this bag will have the Aquatic Shades in.

The shades will allow you to get the empty barrel which you will fill with Frigid Floe Fish, Calamitous Carp and Kingfin the wise whiskerfish. Once done you return the barrel to where you found it and you'll receive Otto!

Hey everybody! Quick tip for those who decide to go for the fishing route instead of the harpoon route. I noticed that with high perception, i sometimes got 2 bronze coins while fishing. So I though i might give it a go, and drank a Phial of perception and it actualy worked. Because of my high perception I sometimes even discovered 3 coins in 1 go. I know its a simple tip but hope I helped a few out :)

I had the 100 fish farmed at the Tuskar village but it got a little late so I logged out and wanted to do the other farming the next day. When I logged back in the bucket and my 100 fish were gone. going to the dancespot with the shades doesnt give me the cutscene to the bucket anymore. basicly stuck now with this mount :( .. hope others wont make the same mistake. better farm it all in one go

Great Video! Quick tip on getting Kingfin at the end. Put your shades on. I fished for like 30 minutes with nothing. Read somewhere about having the shades on and once I put them back on, got it in 5 casts.

Great guide! Took me about 2 hrs after getting shades to get all the fish. Most of that time was on the last one, since I was pretty unlucky. I was sweating because I finished with only 20 mins to reset. I was so afraid I would lose my barrel if I didn’t turn it in before then!

Buy some Elusive Croaking Crabs off the AH they're like 700g per. Or fish them from the forbiden reach. Get like 20-40 of them and go spawn Sir Pinchalot every 6 min for a almost guaranteed drop of copper coins, low chance of a silver coin and very low chance of a gold coin straight away. You can fish while waiting for the basket to spawn Sir Pinchalot respawns. This way I got 7 copper coins, and 3 silver ones. Then suddenly I got a gold one and all the previous farming was for nothing, but still fun!! The best method that is not bad, it costs only 26 000 gold! Everyone have 26k if you do something other than sit in Valdrakken 24/7

I got so lucky with this. Got a gold coin first time i fished and had no clue what to do with it, then i seen this video and thought sure lets get a mount. Got all the fish quick as even the epic fish was caught within 10 casts. very cool mount, love the swim speed on it too.

SO glad I got the cold coin in the first few days of Dragonflight (I keep almost typing Shadowlands...hell on earth)!! I haven't gotten the other Ottuk (I get nervous about group content!!) so I'm happy I'll be able to get Otto

The Fishing Profession rare in the Forbidden Reach drops a coin per kill. You can summon it in every 6-10 mins with the item Elusive Croaking Crab from the AH. Also is worth noting that it can drop more than 1 coin per kill. It also has a small (3-5% chance, my guess after summoning in 100) chance to drop silver coins and even smaller gold coins (my guess 1% or less)

Got this today, super easy. Already fished lots of bronze/silver coins when doing the lurkers achievements. Took less then a hour to get the mount being lucky with drops. Got the epic item on 2nd cast. Good luck all :)

This is my new favorite mount! So cute with the cool shades! I did this in one evening. With the Fishing Frenzy world quest active, I joined a lunker harpoon group and got 3 silver coins and several copper coins in about 2 hours (I already had 1 silver and some coppers from random world pickups). Took me 20mins to get the 100 fish in Iskaara, 15mins to get the 25 in lava, and was super lucky to get the epic fish on the first hook in Algethar. I was at 100 fishing (+fishing buffs), phial of perception, and shades on.
