Today I'm speaking about another brand that I've not spoken about on the channel but a brand I'm very interested in and especially this fragrance Sayat Nova. Sayat Nova was an Armenian troubadour, Traveling Poet, known for his love songs and since I was raised with being taught about Sayat Nova I was very curious to learn all about Sayat Nova the fragrance, from the house of Bortnikoff. With Sayat Nova I get smoky dark woods, fruity stone fruit of apricot that is a fusion of dry apricots and fresh apricots. With Sayat Nova I also get dark smoky tobacco nuances, as well as dark savory or very lightly sweetened chocolate accords. The vanilla and boozy nuances do come in as well to tone down the darkness from the ouds that are pretty dominant in Sayat Nova. Have you tried Sayat Nova? Do you enjoy the fragrances of Bortnikoff? Sampled this before from a friend and it was very strong with one spray lasting the next day after a shower. It had a coffee note not listed maybe from the smokiness. Love it because of the three different ouds as an oud lover. Bortikoff does ouds and musks well. Love your videos. From Texas, USA.

Sayat Nova sounds like an amazing fragrance. I love strong masculine fragrances with smoke and woods. This also sounds nice with the fruity, vanillic, and boozy touches without being overly sweet. A oud dominant fragrance but having subtle gourmand touches sounds amazing to me. I am from Ohio, USA.

I was surprised see name of Sayat Nova. I love love love Sayat Nova songs and I am intrigued by perfume named by Sayat Nova. After Sebastian's description I have not idea why oud parfume has his name. But I want to test this perfume very much.

I just happened to wear Sayat....It is intense and 1 or 2 spray is enough...I consider it as gourmand though...yea I get the chocolaty....lol...If this is your first Bortnikoff it is great but I’m not sure Sir Winston or Amber Cologne or Musk I’m I die hard fan of great review!

Loved the review! What I like most about this video (and all of your videos) are your incredible note breakdowns. For example, when you described the apricot note, you mentioned that you don't get fresh or dry but a combo. So you're painting a picture with your words instead of just listing the notes - love your descriptions. Sayat Nova sounds intoxicating! Just received my sample of Tiziana Terenzi Ursa and compared it to STH, I got leather and tobacco in the opening, the patchouli prevalent. The STH more gourmand than Ursa. They're distinct from each other yet similar. I will be buying the full bottle of Ursa. I love them both.
