Well, he certainly changed my mind about what’s important for health. He clarified the idea that the gut biome is a thing that’s responsible for your immune system . How if you get it right with your gut biome you’ve got the rest of everything else working correctly. He also explains things in a manner that people can understand. He doesn’t dumb it down to make people get it. He makes it interesting and more personal. Thanks for having him on.❤

I was introduced to Dr B’s way of eating by my new doctor who is a naturopath. My health was extremely poor do to years medications for MS, OP, fractures and several accidents. I won’t go into my complete history because it’s just to long! I watched his pod cast with Rich Roll September 2022, I went all in. Since then I discover you Chef AJ, Dr McDougall and more. I so appreciated all of you because I now feel human again!
My question is, Chef AJ have you had a speaker or will you have one in the near future who can talk about bone health and healing “if possible” osteoporosis? I have broken my left foot twice, compound feature left wrist, left knee cap, right shoulder (had to have a full reverse shoulder replacement) right wrist, right rib. Most of these fractures have been in the last 3 years. I will be 65 in June and hoping to find out how to improve my bone health.

12hrs between meals makes sense

i ate dinner last night, 450 cals of greens and steamed veggies.

That was supposed to be IT for the day.

But i overeat in the night. That’s my thing.

i lock up the goodies that put me WAAAY over on calories and just leave bananas.

Why bananas? Because i don’t particularly like bananas and they’re volume-intense (watermelon would be better to leave out but there’s more cleanup for watermelons than bananas).

Last night i smoked five bananas.

Wasn’t planned.

i thought, “wow, now i’m not going to eat until 3 or 4 pm? Damn!”

i woke up, exercised, hydrated, drive and nailed three small intense workouts and before i knew it it was 5pm.

The calories are THERE.

And after i burn through the calories ate, my body lets me burn another 1500 calories before i begin to feel any weakness or reduced capability.

Shoutout to the Garmin Instinct solar ; best calorie readout in existence.
