I would have agreed with Rayman Legends but then I played DKC Tropical freeze, fantastic game, give it a chance! :) great list

Really missing Ori and the blind Forrest over here unless you see it as a different genre. Never felt LBP's quality because I thought the controls where to floaty and the design very pretty but boring.

Snes mega man were better than Nes versions

Well, Castlevania and Abe are not much platformers but super mario world is not the best in my opinion, there are others better, I preffer sonic 1 or mario 64.
