How To Replace Damaged Number Plates

A quick and relatively Easy demonstration how to remove old cracked and tired looking number plates and install new, easy fit ones.

I bought mine from Amazon and took just 4 days to arrive at a cost of £11.85 including delivery (approx. $16.50). Halfords (a national UK chain of motor spares supplies) wanted £32 bout $40!

You are extremely lucky if you can replace your license plates with new with the same number !
Here in Greece 1) it's impossible 2) a lot of bureaucracy (plus at least 30 euro e-bill) to get new plates with new numbers plus a notification to your Registration ''new licence plates provided

4:00 recently in India its not legal to do this self, for secutity reasons. these days to much of OTP conformation that its done by authorized center n its updated to traffic police. sms for getting clean new or replacing broken .

Great video. Exactly what I was looking for. I got my rear plate from number1plates and was only £9.99 with the GB badge on, I only got the regular txt aswel though but I thought that was a good price seen as my FIL get them for the same price to his garage. Btw fab H4H's hoodie.

You dont just pull the number plate off if it has adhesive tape attaching the number plate to the car; you need to use some heat from a heat gun, if you take care as it gets very hot, or try a hair drier, This will soften the adhesive making it much easier to remove and reduce the chance of paint peeling off the car which can happen if you just try to pull the number plate off.

Gotta ask you a very stupid question. When I received my number plates, I can seee that both number plates are not yellow and white but green and dark yellow.. means they are covered with a plastic for proection.. Do you know how to peel it off ? I just can't seem to find an end to start stripping it.. ! ?
