I have both the old and the new models. What I immediately noticed is that the case of the older one is of worse quality, with larger gaps, flimsy plastic, the absence of a clip at the back, and, of course, the lack of a button. Moreover, the older case has a distinct click from the latch that closes the ratchet, unlike the new one, which feels unclear. The old case feels much sturdier and more solid. It seems like they started cutting costs on the new tool. Hopefully, this hasn't affected the tool itself.

Can somebody tell me how to tell which kit has "the button"? I'm hoping to find some old stock on Amazon, but I don't know the difference b/w the old and the new (buttonless) style. Thanks in advance.

Bin ja nen absoluter Fan von wera und das schon Jahrzehnte und immer zufrieden aber eins wüsste ich schon gern...warum hat der Schraubendreher bei diesem Set keine Aufnahme oben drauf wo ich die kleine ratsche drauf setzen kann? Der Griff ist sehr klein und dadurch kann man nur schlecht Kraft drauf bringen.
Bitte nachbessern 😊
