Everyone is guilty of sin. What is short. God said ALL have sinned that's why Jesus was and is necessary. There can be NO sin in Heaven because God is pure love and in pure there is NO falling short. I'm trying to study out some verses lately...I write these things that you sin not, whosoever abideth in him sinneth not, whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin, and *if you sin you have an advocate with the Father (not when you sin, but if you sin, paying attention to word detail)...is the original text translated into sin here as some kind of overview concept of mindset or lifestyle rather than single incidents of "sin"? Because this seems to suggest that eventually one should reach a state where if truly with God taken to full seriousness where they can walk sinless through the help of the spirit within, especially with the if statement...so knowing we arent perfect there is forgiveness if we make mistakes, but with *if suggests the idea we can't help but sin doesn't apply to born again followers of Jesus.

Anyone have any scriptures I could look up and study that further sheds wisdom on this concept?

Research the loyal law. We must walk in love by the strength of Holy spirit through Christ. James 2, romans 8, galatians 5. We are delivered by the faith and belief in the word of God and Christ and depending on the strength and power of the Holy spirit. The Holy spirit shows up when we consistently meditate on the word of God. Joshua 1, psalms 1 and jeremiah 17:7-8

If jesus died to PAY for our sins, why do we have to stop sinning to be saved? Im not saying that because we are saved, we should go on sinning. Even paul said "no" to that. But jesus died because we sin. Not to tell us to "stop sinning." We should very much stop sinning. But sin already did what it designed to do. It separated us from God, in the garden, with adam and eve. Like you said yourself, we are made righteous by christ. Jesus said "your righteousness must surpass that of the pharisees". Yet in isaiah, it says "there are none righteous. No, not one." So how then can we be more righteous than the pharisees? B6 christs righteousness! No amount of turning from sin will save me, you, or anyone. You can turn from all the sins you want, but if you arent trusting in christs sacrifice, christs righteousness, alone, you are not saved and "not sinning" or "sinning less" doesnt prove you are a child of God. Matthew 7:21-23 tells us this and john 6:40 answers the question of how to be saved and who is saved....

I just clicked on a vid of yours you made a yeat ago. The title is thirteen things most beginners miss in the first five verses in the bible. I think you should remove it. For one thing you do not use Bible Hub for the meaning of the words or strongs concordence. The God you speak of is not the Lord GOD there is no trinity. The Eloim is the name which means ( gods, angels and majistrates of the Lord GOD ) that means He created them. The Eloim created man in Their image He Him( created himself in the flesh ) male and female them ) The natural man satans children. The Lord GOD formed Adam from the dust of the ground ( clay ) and breathed into him a living Soul. Not the natural man but the Spiritual man Angels the Lord GODs children ( The Stars ) as His Host prepared for war. The Eloim hovered over the waters ( semen )
