The fact that Dave Chappelle had a transgender opening for him speaks volume and the fact that this transgender received backlash from her own community that's something in itself in fact when I saw the show you would have thought that the show was based on that woman that was a transgender in memory of her. This is BS, we've all laughed at jokes across the board. Some characterize people, some expound on certain attributes of different people, some go in on the government, how we're treated, what should or shouldn't be done, and we laugh at ourselves and others. It's freaking comedy!!!!

A bad joke is a bad joke, like Dave's friend Daphne. But to act like you've been disrespected over jokes about you at a comedy event is way over the line in my opinion. We all know that when you go to a comedy show, you might well become part of the show. A comedian may simply just point you out in the audience as a prop. Why would you take it personal?

The bottom line for me is "If you can't take a joke, why are you here?" this is about raising an agenda, not about foul-play or disrespect.
