I’m a gay man - and I’m bi-racial - watch the whole special
- being a person of color - there is a big divide between the races in the LGBTQ community - there just is - and we are the minority in the minority and are treated that way. All he is saying is why is it ok for a black music artist to kill a man in Walmart and have nothing happen to his career - no outrage …. But mr. chapelle points out the uncomfortable obvious?!. And folks are coming for him ?! Gay rights has made leaps and bounds in my lifetime I’m in my early 40’s grew up in 80’s and 90’s where the movie Philadelphia was a controversial movie - now if it were made it would be on the Hallmark channel - all Dave is saying “ is what’s your secret “? We know what the secret is - white folks are gay and trans thus the movement moves cause hey - it affects them and if people of color benefit a little from their new found freedoms so be it, but it’s not the main objective more collateral (damage )……

He is doing exactly what he is suppose to be doing - threatening the white dominated status quo of “ know your place boy “. He is not beholden to sponsors - he will not be cancelled - cause he speaks, love, truth and hard earned wisdom that most with privilege are unaware - and frankly don’t care …. He calls us to be better and the mirror points and shows self reflection and some don’t like the picture reflected back - so they get upset at the Mirror …

No one asked for his cancellation then! There seems to be a hierarchy over who can be offended! Now I’m offended!

Dave Chappelle is brilliant! The alphabet people need to have several seats because no matter how big of a tantrum they throw, Dave is not going anywhere. Furthermore, as a biological female, I’m tired of my gender being reduced to a “feeling” and a costume. You’re entitled to your feelings, but I’m also entitled to my objective reality and refuse to be gaslight out of it. The rest of the world doesn’t need to cater to your fragility and constant need for validation of your feelings.
