Director Yorgos Lanthimos is known for making weird movies. I have watched his films Dogtooth, The Lobster, and The Killing of a Sacred Deer. These were also weird but exceptional movies. So, its quite natural to expect a film like Poor Things from him.

Finished the film last night.

Of course it's a Yorgos Lanthimos film, based on the 1991 wierd and quirky Novel of the same name. 🙃

And yeah it's one of the weirdest film I've watched after Saltburn (2023)
