I'm 18 years old and I just got this card. The ony thing I'm confused on is that people say to only use 30% of your credit limit, but is that monthly or overall? My limit is $200, so I should I put $60 or less on it per month, or total?

So today I just got done applying for my first credit card. i applied for Discover Discover it® and added $200 to my Secured Card Application. At the age of 26, this will be my first ever credit card.
One of the main reasons i applied is to build good credit/ score. Now the question is can i use the Discovery credit card with my Bank of America checking account.? and how much can I pay a month?

I’m so confused on what I should make my deposit. I was thinking $1000 but at the same time if i just do the minimum $200 deposit and keep it under 30% utilization rate I should be fine right? Like I can just use my debit card for other purchases. Like maybe I’ll just add my discord card to my amazon account so it can Pay my Amazon prime bill each month and that’s it. What you think?
