I'm a proud owner of a Fluance RT85 with a Sumiko Moonstone cartridge connected to Schiit Mani 2 phono preamp...all of which is connected to my Sony STR-ZA3100ES AV receiver which speaks volumes through my Definitive Technology speakers...yeah I know, it ain't Rotel or Soundesign, but it certainly exceeds my Fisher-Price stereo from 1973...

It sounds like a great deal but it still wouldn't make me want to give up my 39 year old 'The AR Turntable' with it's Linn arm. I still have my first good turntable I bought in the '70s, the Philips GA-212. My third TT is a Braun PS-500, which is built like a piece of military gear and designed by the famous Dieter Rams.

Great post Bob! I’ve got a hot rodded Fluance, but this Mofi deal is almost a no brainer😊

OK. I picked up a second hand studio deck with cartridge for just over £300. Only thing wrong with it was a crack in the perspex cover and it needed a bit of spindle oil. I love it. I have a much more expensive Clearaudio in my main system and the studio deck is very close in terms of sound and possibly quieter in terms of surface noise. 800 bucks seems a great deal. Tarun seems a real gentleman. Glad he reached out.

I got my MoFi Studiodeck last Friday and am blown away!!(Studiotracker cartridge and dust cover) coming from a 8 year old ATLP120usb (anti skate never worked) and am BLOWN AWAY at the sound and build quality! Even the Dust Cover is off the hook (Quality) Amazing sound difference! Have played about 20 albums (my favorites, Zeppelin, Beatles The Doors) Huge difference in sound quality! I just subscribed and hit the notification all button

I continue to be impressed with this StudioDeck with the MasterTracker cartridge! I was listening last night using a vintage Sansui 4000 stereo receiver with my Zu Omen Dirty Weekend speakers... I had just received a Blue Note Art Blakey record, his Moanin' and the Jazz Messengers... The sound coming out of these Zu speakers with the internal Sansui phono stage, just simply incredible. I have owned a few TT's in the day, and had no inclination of getting back into vinyl... But after getting this Sansui 4000 receiver, this baby needs to play some vinyl, and then I stumbled across the above video. Bob, I would never have known about these StudioDeck TT's, thank you again for making this video. Best part, they assemble and ship these right down the road from me in Ann Arbor MI. Very cool. Thanks again Bob! And they are still on sale folks, if you have the cash, grab one, these are so cool and sound so good. ;-)

Looking cool behind the wheel, and peddling a turntable for a steal. You're a great DJ, man, and with all your videos, I'm a fan. Waxing poetic or should that be vinyl, till the camera overheated and the celluloid melted. Thanks for sharing. Be safe out there and keep us entertained. Great shout out to other YouTubers.

I just received my Mofi StudioDeck from Turn Table Lab, paid $1299 with the MasterTracker cartridge. It sounds fantastic on my vintage Sansui 4000 stereo receiver with the Zu Omen Dirty Weekend speakers. I am using the phono section in the Sansui, and it is mm mm good!

I enjoy spinning my StudioDeck. Sidenote: make some United States of Analog shirts. I would buy, especially if it has a record or turntable design.

Hi Bob, I see you on Randy’s zoom calls. I’ll be following your new channel. I’ve been doing this audio gear since1971. I’d love to hear your radio show someday but I’m in NC.

I don't recommend the StudioTracker cartridge but I highly recommend the 'table itself. It was $1500 list price and MoFi nearly cut the price in half.

I'm way behind the equipment race. I own a Hitachi PS-17, same as MCS 6500 • circa 1977

Did I hear a cat squeal right before Technical Difficulties came on? I'm sure it wasn't on purpose. Mofi, Maggies, and Yammies are the only audio companies I can think of that have abbreviated company nicknames. Maybe there's some others out there that people can chime in on. You're a pretty famous company when people know you by your nickname.

Love the look of that orange belt on that turntable. The platter material looks like its well chosen with some thought behind it, and platter material is very important. It is not "Impossible" to be more clever than The Cheap Audio Man. It might take some work though. He has his moments. Darko is about as good as it gets. There's always been a disproportionate amount of good music and good equipment coming out of the U.K. That is not that big an Isle.

My Denon DP 30L is still humming along 42 years later. Without any humming. Direct drive. I'm not crazy about you recording this while driving. Even though your eyes are on the road, some of your attention is on the fact that you are recording a video and want it to look good.
