Many of Conrad's guests have informed him that Dave Meltzer is "not a reliable source" of information. Yet, Conrad insists on quoting Meltzer every chance he gets. Many people in the pro wrestling business regard Meltzer as a tabloid journalist.

I felt that way about Conrad. When he was on the Arn Show, I felt he was dominating Double A. I was like, shut up Conrad, I was watching to hear what Double A has to say.

Conrad's biggest problem is that he thinks he's the star of the show. Note how James interviews wrestlers vs how CT does it.

I've never seen someone more desperate to be one of the boys than Conrad. "Chat me up" will never be over, and Conrad will never be over, much less be one of the boys. He could've married Charlotte and he STILL wouldn't be any closer to this achievement.

My biggest issue with Conrad and the reason he plummeted in my eyes is his constant defense of Meltzer and building an entire podcast(s) around reading the dirtsheets to these guys. He recently told Eric that "he doesn't believe Dave lies" when Bischoff accused Dave of making stuff up after Eric, WHO HATES CM PUNK, actually defended Punk after Wembley. Conrad lost what shred of credibility he had left with that obvious bs statement. He also rubbed people wrong with the constant "Save with Conrad" self-promotion and numerous wrestlers have spoke that when Conrad became Ric Flair's son-in-law he cold shouldered alot of guys he had been friendly with simply because they were enemies of Ric's.

I remember once he read something Dave Meltzer wrote about the old 900 numbers, trashing them for charging money for information. He was reading Meltzer's newsletter that he pays for.
