The accuracy to hit every single soap bar with a label using a mallet is just insane.

Just a correction as a soapmaker: they are using sodium hydroxide, aka lye as the base, not baking soda. it is scientifically impossible to make soap using baking soda since it's not alkaline enough. the error comes from the translation- he simply said they use "soda" in Arabic that in this case means (caustic) soda. and yes, all real soaps are made from lye- sodium hydroxide for soap bars and potassium hydroxide for liquid soaps. it may sound dangerous but they are completely neutralized during the saponification process.

I just washed my hair in a traditional Olive Oil Soup bar & its really calmed down my dry itchy scalp condition which various shampoos were all making worse, even the mediated ones. I still use conditioner on the rest of my hair, my my scalp only gets the olive soup, & finally my head is no longer on fire.

I'm fortunate that this soap is sold in a few local stores. It has a very mild, creamy, lightly earthy scent. It leaves your skin soft and very refreshed. The remaining aroma is somewhat milky and leafy. It has the silkiest lather of any soap I've ever used and is very gentle, even on the most sensitive areas of skin. Highly recommend.

When I watch this kind of videos I feel certain kind of sadness. To see how the "modern" ways have destroyed centuries old artisanal ways of doing things. Is just not soap, is the tradition that will die.

Honestly i would buy a whole pack of this soup just because of the history and tradition that goes along with it

I see this video now, once again. And wonder how these people are doing and if the business is still running. I'm sending my Love 💕❤️.

I watched this video about 2 years ago when it first came out and I finally just ordered this soap because my curiosity was driving me crazy. And you don't ever, I mean ever. See western products made like this. The fact it was poured on the floor, hand stamped and cut is just amazing. God smiles upon the people who make this

Can't help but feel massive respect for these guys. Keeping an old tradition alive and it seems like they really do love the craft.

I've been using this soap for over a year after making my own glycerine soap for decades because the Nabalus is far superior. It really is a great product

Too bad they can't export their product. Western and European countries will definitely buy their stuff.

My grandma bought one of these before. They didn’t irritate your skin whatsoever. And they were affordable for many. This is what you call good quality soap

So it’s 1000 years old industry! And still can’t believe we were there before 1948😂 .

My Nablus soap just arrived in the mail! Really lovely product, and I'm always thrilled to support small batch companies with a long history!

That mallet guy probably destroys the mole game at arcade.

I think, the price is worth the effort, value and the history of it..
