I traveled to Paris for the first time in YEARS and we'll you're coming along with me. In this 48 hour guide to Paris see some unique and off-the-beaten-path things to do in Paris, like a super unique way to see the Parisian sights, getting some gluten-free treats, see the inspiration for NYC's Highline, and discover the city's hidden bars with a Parisian.

Jardin du Luxembourg
Coulée Verte René-Dumont (walking path along an old disused railway line)
Le Marais (trendy district for shopping, cafes, and LGBTQ+ nightlife)

*=I booked a private tour so we could shoot, but was given a press discount.

Been to Paris four times in the past nine years and STILL can’t get enough of the city. You don’t “visit” Paris, you fall for it. ❤️

I'm traveling to London and Paris for the first time in a few weeks and I have been BINGING your videos, they've been so helpful in helping plan what to do. I only have a couple of days in Paris too and you even have a 48 hr video too! So glad I found your channel! 😀

LOVED THIS VIDEO! Your fashion is right on point for Paris. Your makeup is very natural, hair very natural and clothing is cheek but not too much. Very Parisian. Great job!

Great video! Ive been looking for a Paris equivalent to Love and London for my London/Paris for a while. Other traveling vlogs have the basics, but Jess’ videos always have such unique and interesting suggestions that you don’t find anywhere else.

I would love to see what outfits you put together for touring etc. Even if no links, it gives me ideas of what I could wear. Lingoda sounds so helpful!

As a local, I am always curious to see these kinds of tours. You came up with a v good, unique and fun itinerary !! The cake you ordered in the beginning is a financier, I believe? It’s a cake usually made with almond and/or hazelnut flour. Bravo for the french! Ohlala!! Chapeau !

It’s funny how they all responded in English despite your attempt at speaking French. I think they want to practise and possibly show off their English skills which is really cool.

Good watch Jess,
We have been to Paris a few times, a couple of times on the Eurostar and loved it. Quick comfortable and no hassle. We also travelled on to the South of France on train, a great adventure to the sunshine of St Tropez and Nice. Thanks for the watch Jess.👏👏👏

I’ve worked in Paris and busted several times yet have never tried out or even been aware of activities presented. Who needs Bateaux Mouche, Metro/RER, open top buses when you can sip champagne on a sidecar watching the sights …… although round the Arc de Triomphe on a bike/sidecar feels a bit mad ! Ps Walking is a good option in Paris to see sights and get the vibes. Sacre Couer is the only real hill and you are never far from a metro station. On last visit I went on a tour of the Opera Garnier which was pretty cool.

please do more of these - like Brussels, Amsterdam, or Dublin, since you already did Edinburgh; as awesome as London is it's amazing to see other places get featured especially with all the nonsense happening in Ukraine at the moment
