I feel like Coates held it down well! Very well in fact. You can actually see the moment the interview was hijacked. Coates’ defended his position and he did it admirably! Think about it he went to the places and his writing is first hand w/o disparaging either community he spoke the reality!

It's always telling how Tony jumped to Israel's right to exist because of criticism in the book, then questioned the Palestinians right to exist. They deflect their hatred on to you as if you live in the world with the same level of demonic intent....And don't defend Gayle she sat their and signed her autonomous voice to Tony's hate campaign.
