Can I agree with what both Perry and Mark said? Celtic are a poor team, and Perry Groves (and others on TS) know nothing about football clubs outside of the 'Big Six' in the Prem League, because they don't watch anything else.

Celtic are in a terrible mess, I’d put them as a top 10 English Championship side I think league one is harsh. And last season This Danish side caused Liverpool issues in the CL group stages, their no mugs and Celtic haven’t been able to really recruit anyone. I think Perry was being unfair there but Celtic as a club and your owners have been very inactive in the market for a couple of seasons now, I don’t think they have a clue what there doing on the board. I think you can see why Howe thought I don’t want this mess, and Perry is correct when your 25 points behind a team like your challengers Rangers you need to buy players that will catch rangers points wise. And basically Celtic have brought Ange into celtic he took a European job but Celtic have no structure, Celtic are dying to sell Edouard and the French midfielder they got surprisingly good money for Ajer I thought that was a lot of money for him. There’s a lack of confidence on the pitch and to be honest the professionalism of Rangers compared to Celtic is miles different Rangers have a manager that was backed in the market has built an Excellent squad. And Celtic have been left behind Rangers only recently back in the Scottish prem, have already in no time took apart this Celtic so called dominance. Trouble is how are Celtic going to get back to the top they need to spend big time and like Perry said it seems like it’s got to be. A player sold a player in you sell Ajer for £13 million and you reinvest £5 million on his replacement shows me everything Celtic are doing is Budgeting. I think the squad that went out is basically the squad that will be available to Ange all season. Unless they sell their striker and few others I can see Christie being sold for funds and the French midfielder Perry is right it’s a real mess at Celtic but it’s all of their own making, took your eye off the ball and Rangers have outclassed you big time there competing on a different level to Celtic.

I’m not Scottish but I think this shows a little of unfair disdain towards the Scottish league. Celtic might not be the best team ever but they are not league one standard. They are at least championship level and would probably be in the promotion fight. Not saying they’d get promoted straight away but they would be up there. League one is extremely harsh

What is this obsession the English have with slamming our game? they hold it to such a high and unattainable standard. Like we get it, the English Prem is the best and most expensive league in the world so that’s what you naturally compare other leagues too but surely you’s aren’t naive and ignorant enough to not understand the Scottish game. We’re talking about a country with a 5 mil population! Bloody Sweden have double the population we have. With the resources we have available i think we produce a more than respectable league. Especially in comparison to other countries with a similar size. People need to be realistic. Get over the petty distain for the Scottish game.

Celtic now aren't the Celtic of old, and even then I think they'd have struggled in the Premiership or even Championship. I'm Scottish and even I don't watch the Scottish PL.... it's poor as fk... Although to be fair Gerrard's doing a fantastic job.

I don’t think they would be League 1. But they would struggle in the championship. Rangers I think would be up there in the championship.
The difference in quality/backing/salaries between English & Scottish leagues is the reason why.

Celtic would be like Newcastle, Villa, Leeds etc, how we were a few years ago. They’d probably get relegated rebuild then with the money build up. They could be a good club after a few years but no way if they just got dropped in, it’s so hard to build a team for the prem. they’re big enough fan base etc to rebuild and get up here eventually and up the top end but it takes time mate. P.S Celtic and Rangers are amazing clubs, when we say league one it’ll be at the moment, obviously if you were in our league settled and started bringing in good signings and adjusting of course they’d climb up but the level drop between Scotland and England is big.
