TMNT 2007 II Mikey Foot Clan?

I wished TMNT 2007 was a more successful movie. I think if it just made over 250 million dollars it would’ve gotten a sequel likely to come out in 2010 or 2011.

Combine this idea with the other sequel idea they had with the others turning back into regular animals. Like, maybe the Shredder returns at a time where Mikey is all alone, and that makes him join the Foot seeing as he alone can't take him down. Mikey dawns the black bandana and acquires a rebel crew of Foot soldiers to find a way to acquire more mutagen and assassinate Shredder. I'd love for Japan to still be a location here. Being away from his family, old home, and aligning with the enemy could really send Mikey into a bit of a crisis. Should he succumb to his new life and identity or become more like his brother Leo? Good-ish idea?

One of things that held this story back is the fact that Leo and Raph were in the spotlight in this story. While Don and Mikey were in the background. I can see what they were trying to do, as each sequel would have focused on the rest of the brothers, but this in a way harmed the film to me.

I actually just rewatched tmnt recently and there's so much that went over my head as a kid. To the point where I see this movie in a much better light than before. Id even go as far as saying it's almost a love letter for the series up til 2007. Such a shame a sequel never happened.

I talked with Leo's voice actor, James Arnold Taylor. He said that the sequel probably would have had shredder. And a tv series was planned

Would’ve loved to see this movie
The idea of one of the Turtles going evil or just leaving the group is something that always leads to interesting stories like Leo getting brainwashed in the IDW comics

There is a third cancelled movie that has Donnie as the main protagonist, and the Triceratons and Kraang with the technodrome as the main antagonists

Man, Imagi losing the turtles rights and going bankrupt really will remain a tragedy til the end of time. Tmnt was so worthy of the sequels

Michelangelo or Donatello getting character development? Yeah right. We just want more angsty Raph for a whole movie and then him butting heads with Leo for a whole scene only for him to realize “brotherhood” at the end
