Victory VAP SS Arrows EXTREME FOC Complete Build

Finally getting into releasing this Victory VAP SS Rebuild video! I have tinkered and finally stuck with things this way. So far it is working great! The Ethics archery inserts give my arrows the Extreme FOC I need to pile drive through any animal and make that ethical kill, and the zinger fletches make sure that the arrow gets to its target just as intended. Below are the chapters, as this is a complete build, from start to finish, to the point that the arrows are ready to fly and ready for final tuning with your bow. By the way, the Glow Wraps glow very well, but the camera doesn't pick it up as well as my eye.

Hey brother, I'm curious if the wrap on the back will keep the zinger from popping off. I personally dont like the popping off because I hunt some crp fields and my old fob's would get in the tall grass and I'd loose them.

Each insert is weighed and filed/ ground to so all are the same. Same with broadheads. I like to super clean the inside of the shaft with 91% alcohol and all other parts to be glued. No oils at all on anything. The low temp blue melt has never let me down yet with clean parts. My arrow builds are all within 2 grains. Wished I could shoot well enough to justify all this effort lol.

These ZING fletching are very interesting. At first they appear to be a little sketchy. But what do I know? What is your experience with them? Good, Bad and the Ugly?

You really want to take the nocks out also because when you don’t it will pressurize the arrow shaft when you press the insert and glue in

Yeah hot glue doesn’t work in the Midwest or farther north. It shrinks then separates in the extreme cold.

What is your nock tuning process (if any)? It looks like you just threw the fletches on at the end of the vid and that was it.

Never been a fan of hot melt on carbon arrows. That glue is heavy and never spreads evenly vs the alternative and can induce wobble.

I’m getting a dozen of Vap TKO elites soon for a build on my new bow. I have super short draw and only pull about 65-68 pounds. I don’t want a super heavy arrow because I want to keep my speed up. What would be a good setup using the ethics components. 26 inch draw with 27 inch arrows
