Interactive Investor makes more sense for large sums of money as they charge a flat fee per month regardless of how much you have. Vanguard for example charge 0.15% annually, which if you have £250k for example, is a sizable fee. The other thing Sasha didn't mention is 'spreads'. there's no such thing as a free lunch or free investing, so if there's no fees to trade, it usually means the company make their money in the 'spreads', so you end up paying behind the scenes anyway.

I signed up to IBKR through your link after your last S&S ISA comparison video. The only thing that disappointed me about them is that they do not allow one to trade leveraged and short ETFs despite them being ISA eligible i.e. UCITS compliant. Other than that they are everything you described them to be.

Suppose with trading 212 pricing on isa will be dependant on how well the cfd side is doing . Any drop in that and no doubt it won’t be as cheap

Very useful summary! I think the biggest rip-off is that the companies only allow you to buy clean shares through a platform. I’ve never understood why we cannot just go to the companies’ websites and buy shares- this would save so much trouble… 🤔
