Matt. I think the gratuity on drink package is showing because the website is clear and charges 18 percent if you buy a drink package. Sinus. We do pay a large amount for it already

I commented on the live about "double tipping". I posted the web link to the official policy on Royal Caribbean's website, and it keeps getting deleted. The bottom line is that officially, the cruise line states that gratuities include bar staff and then you are additionally incurring a gratuity on drink purchases. Whether or not the workers are seeing it, the official answer would be that you are "double tipping". They even use the word "additionally"

Because of RC's decision to push longer sailings to the Icon class which prices people like me out, I'm trying out the Carnival Celebration in 2026. I'm hoping my family loves it because RC seems not to be focused on the long time RC cruisers.
