Its amazing how they pulled this out of the water in the 60s(?) I was just at the Vasa Museum yesterday. It's quite a sight to behold

Seeing a 350 year old ship being raised in colour film with a coal fired steam powered tugboat in the back is nothing less than extraordinary.

That is just so amazing it's creepy. Most wrecks are just a pile of debris within a few years. In the English Channel even many WW1/WW2 wrecks - modern armoured steel ships - are little more than a boiler, screw, and a few heavy struts and engineering parts. How on earth did she survive so incredibly well?! She floats, FFS! She actually floats after 3 centuries on the bottom. She's the luckiest unlucky ship ever.

I’ve been a lot of places and seen a lot of things in this world, but the Vasa is hands down one of the most impressive 🇸🇪

El Vasa, un barco hermoso, que pudo ser el más poderoso de su tiempo, estoy muy impresionado nunca imaginé ver un barco del siglo XVII tan completo, en verdad es hermoso.

This is likea floating fortress to bad that they ordered it against what the captain thought and knew.
not that it would cahnged some war but would have been a strong fear element against possible invadors and keep thievery and piracy down in the baltics.
