All through the US, too. We struggle and sometimes end up at the food bank at the end of the month on $4, 000 a month. We have a combined debt of $1, 300 in credit cards trying to build credit neither of us had. We are building that credit but will never be able to buy a house in Washington state. The average house here is $550, 000. No matter how you twist or turn it, we will never be able to afford that.

The minute I can leave Toronto I’m outta here!! I’ve lived in Toronto for 57 yrs & let me tell you something…Toronto Canada was an awesome City & Country to live in.

Now, what it has become…is disgusting, a dumping ground. To heck with taking care of Canadians, no! Let’s help everyone else around the world EXCEPT Canadians!! Take care of your own Citizens before you start helping other Countries! Canadians NEED HELP TOO! Close the Borders NOW!

It’s an utter disgrace & a disaster! What a disappointment! I’ve never wanted to leave Toronto Canada as much as I do now & it started about 15 yrs ago!

I moved up to a small town in Northern BC away from the lower mainland only to have my house almost double in value after 6 years. While that sounds nice for me i feel for my kids.

I met a couple from New Zealand this summer, who had spent 6 weeks here, looking for jobs ans places to rent. They were not impressed. They couldn't believe how bad the wages were, or just how expensive it was to rent. They had decided New Zealand was better, and were heading home.

I left BC for Alberta in 2002 after graduating high school for Alberta- then I left the country all together in 2012 for the states. Solid decisions all round and I built a rich and successful life and business here that I never could have in Canada.

An American couple are driving across Canada, and they get lost while exploring the prairies. They see a farmer on the side of the road, so the husband pulls over.

"I'll go ask him where the next town is, " he says as he gets out.

He walks up to the farmer and asks,

"Hey there, can you tell me what the next town is called so my wife and I can find it on our map?"

"Saskatoon, Saskatchewan." the farmer says.

The man walks back to the car and gets in.

"Well honey, where do we go?" his wife asks.

"I don't know, " the man says, "he doesn't speak English."

I left BC 3 years ago, now in St Albert. Best decision I ever made for my family. We now are home owners in a beautiful 5 BR house, double garage, back yard on a park, great, safe neighbourhood for less than the rent was for the upstairs of a simple house in Burnaby.

Last time I was in British Colombia with my husband, I got out of our car to “hold” a parking spot while he went around the block to come back to the parking spot. It was in the middle of the day. Well … without going into details, I think their local “network” mistook me for a Prostitute! Yikes!
