Thanks for this. Regarding the deletion of the staccato notes one by one, you don't need to do that. You just need to select one of the staccato dots then right-click and 'Select All Similar Elements' then hit 'Delete' to remove them all. This is fine unless of course you want to keep one or more of them!

Does anyone know if MuseScore4 has a way of accessing the "import panel" like this? I don't see anything like that on MuseScore4, and also, in MuseScore4, it doesn't seem to matter whether I just drop a MIDI on the template page of MuseScore4 or "open" a MIDI file into an existing template, like piano, for example. It still just opens up a new window either way and looks the same to me.

Is there a chance you could make a video about this in reverse? Turning MuseScore files into midi files?

Enjoy your videos. What program do you recommend for working with midi files such as assigning different (true sounding) instruments?

Hello Kyle. Helpful video! I have used this feature several times. Say I have created a piano part in Musescore and wish to add another instrument and I have the MIDI for that other instrument in my DAW. Can I add/import that MIDI file into the existing piano project after adding a stave for the instrument? Thanks!

My MIDI files were created on the Yamaha Genos workstation, however when I try to do as you have done here ie importing from my MIDI files which I have stored on my computer, nothing happens, it just shows up as a blank page. What am I doing wrong?
