Great video man keep it up. Some of us like to learn more about life and keep an open but strong mind in order to avoid the most suffering we can and some of us just want to ban thinking deeper entirely in order to close our eyes while walking without realizing maybe if we just opened our eyes (brains) for just a second we could have avoided stubbing our toe

Then, my teacher gets annoyed with me always for asking so many questions during the discussion that he thinks I am just messing around, for the nature of my questions seems to be irrelevant and does not add up.

An excellent set of videos. My only reservation is the occasional bias against traditional views. In this video, the very good point that philosophy helps you critically assess beliefs is illustrated by a strange idea passed down through a family for two generations. In previous videos, when Corvino used the hot button issues of abortion and same sex marriage to illustrate logical fallacies, he presented only bad arguments against and no bad arguments in favor. This series would have been even better had he illustrated some of his points using sound traditional arguments and fallacious progressive arguments on those same issues.
