When we work with clients, we always stress the need to use edge cases (12:25), and we are so glad you made that suggestion. We are big believers in double-checks, and your examples throughout that video were really helpful. Thank you for sharing!

I can't believe I've missed some of these error checking steps. Good video as usual. I also don't like whole column references, I'd rather turn it to a table first and reference the column name instead of a range. Thanks for these error checking tips.

Thank you for the excellent approaches to ensuring worksheet quality. Do you have any standard methods you like for using known data and outputs to check that the formula outputs are correct?

Thank you Mynda.
first of all, your shirt is very stylish and suits you very well. We are not going to talk about Excel all the time:)
Then, coming to the topic, is there a method that we can see hidden rows and cells as cells, or show where the row and column cells are without opening them?

Hi Mynda
As always, extremely useful
I use the trick of looking for #* myself and have a small VBA code that inserts a new page with a list of errors.
I've also tried to make it as an Excel Script, but can't quite get it to work, especially when there are hidden pages, so if it's not too intrusive, it might be an idea for an upcoming video.

You may want to include "Evaluate Formulas" as a way to stepwise evaluate the working of complex formulas.

Hi! I’ve been a listener for a while now and have been working on a reporting dashboard for my small business.

I have gotten it to a point where I can see most of the data I have been after all along but I think it would be more powerful with pivot tables/charts. The problem is I have it set up now to report and update automatically until 2070. And because of that there are a lot of duplicated zeros for values that represent dates that haven’t happened yet. I was wondering if there is a way to make a dynamic pivot table that only takes data from tables from a specific, but dynamic date.

I’d like a pivot table operating off of todays date with a dynamic reporting period of a number of months specified by me and another operating off of a date specified by me and with a reporting period an amount of months specified by me.

I know this is a complex question for a YouTube comment, but I’d love your feedback or suggestions if you’d offer them.

Thank you!
