In this last in the series on the 667 tube tester we examine how the unit operates after several resistors and capacitors have been replaced and the tester has been calibrated.

Thank you for this video. I had been struggling to understand my EICO 667 that I bought from *bay. This video was so clear and concise that it helped me apply it to my EICO tube tester and I tested several tubes yesterday. Understanding the diode readings was invaluable! Thank you! BTW, you can download the RCA Receiving books online if you just search for them in PDF format. I believe most of the older ones are now in the public domain.

Nice video. Could you make a 667 video showing the results of a bad tube (and also explain the readings of a bad tube)? I just got a 667 and am trying to make sense of it all. I also see in the manual that one should never do a merit test if the tube tests bad on the leakage tests. It also says not to hold down the merit lever longer than absolutely necessary. It says one can damage the tubes or the tester itself if not used properly, so I am curious to see more comprehensive videos, and your video seems to be the best I found on the 667 tester. Thanks....

Can this eico be used to match tubes? It seems to be much more than a simple emissions tester

Is the wiring diagram the same for the non roller chart model as it is for the roller-chart model? I know the schematic for component location is slightly different (R7 is one item that comes to mind) but I'm curious about the wiring itself. Great video BTW!
