I have had my fun if I don't get well no more
I have had my fun if I don't get well no more
My head is failin' me and I'm goin' down slow
Please write my mother, tell her the shape I'm in
Please write my mother, tell her the shape I'm in
Tell her to pray for me, forgive me for my sins
Tell her, don't send no doctor, doctor can't do no good
Tell her, don't send no doctor, doctor can't do no good
It's all my fault, didn't do the things I should
Mother, please don't worry, this is only my prayer
Mother, please don't worry, this is only my prayer
Just say your son is gone, out of this world somewhere

Don's Tunes is my best way to start a Sunday. Always a positive in a world of Negativity.

I purchased an Al and the Coholics CD in a blues bar in Singapore about 20 years ago. Great little bar!

It's a sin to calibrate any blues in comparison to another. Each bluesman (blueslady) is a hero by own distinction. But to be honest still there exists some oil more oilish. So Al & Coholics represent refined exemplary iconic The Blues. God bless them. I digged Internet who is Alex Terry - wow! He is Aussie that even not surprise me (now he in Chicago). Early I detected that Aussies play blues in theire own special way - thoroughly picking up gold grains by Australian principle of thinking.

Как всегда прекрасно, за окном идёт дождь и блюз прекрасно сочетается с ним!

Mastery. Sheer mastery. Like Pop Staple said, just get out the way and let the gentleman do his thing. Quiet reverence is now due.

Wow, sitting behind my pc and laughing out loud by reading the band's name in spite of the lyrics of this song, which are really sad. And then I get really serious by listening to a great song that has everything it needs to be a fantastic blues. Oh my, that guitar just tells us how it is, and the vocals keep me mesmerized, don't even have to mention the harmonica that sends shivers down my spine. Thanks Don, great as

I was appreciating the kind of raggedy edge to one part of the guitar solo, and along comes the harmonica. Popped my head right up.
