A sign of the times yes, but a little preparedness can go a long way towards keeping you and your loved one's safe and healthy!

I'd add moringa. It's a vigorous grower during the warmer months, high in protein (including all essential amino acids), and the seed kernels can be used to purify water.
Longevity spinach is a perennial.
Sweet potato is dual-purpose. The tubers and leaves are edible.

Thank you for this list. Most videos I have watched about what food to stock are comprised of material I would not eat unless I was starving and couldn't get anything else.

Please do a video in diets, supplements and superfoods for emphysema. I know sugar causes more inflammation and co2 build up in the body and that lower carb diets produce less co2. Also some berries, broccoli, astragalus, NAC, omega 3 and turmeric. But your guidance would be very useful to share with my mum. Often someone other than a daughter is listened to

You have my gratitude for such a considerate and thoughtful video. I happen to own some of these right now, including pink salt, Spirulina and basil (though just the regular kind). I bought this pot of freshly grown basil and did think of keeping the plant alive. Thank you :)

A future topic request please...It would be very interesting to hear some superfood alternatives to grains for those who prefer to remain lower carb or have intolerance or perhaps are looking for great diversity and phytonutrients

Coconut oil is good to put on your skin, helps stretch marks, a low sun screen and good substitute for hair conditioner as well as using in a homemade toothpaste, good all-rounder really

5:15 pink salt could be armful cause too much heavy metal pinker mean more of the bad stuff

I purchased a pound of spirulina, going off of recommendations, not just here but other sites as well. It is not cheap. Unfortunately, I can't stand the taste and can't even use it in my smoothies because it ruins the taste of the smoothie for me. People should always try small amounts of new superfoods before doing what I stupidly did. There are many superfoods that I DO like.
If you live in an apartment with little space and unable, (for a variety of reasons) to grow superfoods, you can always grow and eat the sprouts. Takes up very little space and I have read that sprouts can be even more nutritious than the actual plant.

Wow .. are you my twin ?! You hit it right 100% across the categories - (and mentioning the same essential oils of the growing medicinal and spice herbs).

I would also consider seabuckthorn berries that are totally healthy and nutritious with a mass of vitamins, minerals, aminos. Then there are cranberries - can't go wrong at any time with cranberries. Millet and milo (bird seed) ... and giant amaranth seeds, leaves, and stalks are dynamic grain and food options.

Not mentioned as you list superfoods - are the conventional foods, and I have posted raw and cooked calories of vegs elsewhere in YT vids - and it comes down to highest caloric, fiber, and nutrition as (1) pasta - all kinds of wheat and buckwheat, (2) sweet potatoes all parts tuber, vines, and leaves edible, (3) potatoes - most kinds, and (4) parsnips !!, .... Most people thinking of eating conventional garden vegs (carrots, beets, broccolli, cauliflower, spinach, chard, etc) barely hit 60-100 calories per cup, while these above mentioneds run from 300-500-900 calories per cup. And consider sugar beets (livestock mangels) when young and tender have calories - and natural sugars that can be used in many various ways in food meals - raw, cooked, steamed, juiced, dried chips, ...

Wheat and buckwheat (i.e. pasta, grain flour) totally quash barley and rice or other grains and seeds for healthy storage and use.

It's a " Good Idea " to Check Around for information on Certain Herbs !
For Instance Both Rosemary and Lemongrass plants, though Good for both " Culinary &
Medicinal Uses Are [ is the term ] Invasive ! ?
They " Will Spread " on open Space and are Very Hard to Get Out !
And They Leave No Room for Anything Else !
