I understand you are doing a tutorial. But, the easiest way to remove that thump is to just cut it out in the DAW. Split and delete.

Thanks! This was an excellent tutorial. You specified using Spectral Denoise for vocal recordings here. Is it also okay to use this plugin to remove room hum from recordings of pianos or of classical ensembles with a bigger harmonic range than a voice. I'm concerned that it will negatively impact the tone of the piano. Rx plugins seem to be almost exclusively aimed at cleaning up guitar tracks and vocal tracks.

i feel like the results of rx processing are so good in the tutorials but i struggle to get clean and transparent results when i use it. Maybe partly rx isn't super user friendly or intuitive to use?

Just edit the audio!! Cut out the step and fill with atmos like any dialog editor might do!! No need at all for RX AT

Great plugin but this is just unprofesional aproach to profesional tool. First of all there is no explanation how to set attenuate to remove vertical or horizontal noise. The example is just very poor in term of how bad audio can be repaired. This example can easily be fixed by "Dialog Isolation". And i want to see the "lawnmower" remowal. I'm profesional sound editor and i use it everyday. I demand more pro ! :). We know you can make good tutorials.
