The thing that most people don't appreciate enough is how one-hand friendly one UI 7 actually is. Everything is now placed at the bottom or very easy to reach, unlike the iPhone pill gesture where you have to reach up or use your other hand.

every new development seems to get the same thing wrong every time. the new app icons never have that Samsung style, they just look like some random android launcher.

This so called "Dynamic Island" concept actually LG had it many years ago, I think it is from V series if I am not mistaken.
But then they were like launching the app from there in a convenient way.

I am team samsung but I had an LG like 10 years ago and it was so good and user friendly. I see with every update both samsung and iPhone introduce features that it already had. Even a few features from this video.

I hope they can give us our own custom library UI where we can search apps via scrolling them horizontally/vertically in groups, in one single column or row, or even a more intrinsic globe perspective.
