Samsung One UI 7.0 Update - TERRIBLE NEWS for Millions of Galaxy Users

Samsung has officially announced that they will be removing a major feature from ONE UI 7.0 once the update hits Samsung Galaxy phones early next year.

As others have already expressed, this is very disappointing that Samsung is doing this. I use Dex quite a bit and on more than one occasion, it has saved me in doing presentations. While i realize that to those who never used the feature is no big deal, but for those of us who do use it, it is a great loss. Of course, if Samsung has made the announcement, it is s don't deal no matter how much we complain. It would be nice if they found out the utilization before just making a decision to stop the use of such features.

Dex for PC was slow & buggy for some computers. It was just redundant software at this point if Link to Windows does the same thing already.

There is no need to be concerned.
Allow me to clarify:
1. For Windows: The Windows link can perform all the functions that Dex can.
2. Dex is beneficial for LED and TV.

I love using DEX on my pc. It gives me ease of use. It's great with multitasking on a screen larger than the S24 ultra and i think that it is very secure

Actually I don't use samsung dex on my pc, but why they gonna remove it ?
And I wana maintain about the samsung edge panel, they say this edge panel gonna be remove too, so we can't install a panels from samsung store anymore, but if u have those panels in your phone installed before u will be able to use them .
I don't know why samsung doing that ?

Saki We will not be able to download any edge panel from Galaxy store after the update... So download the panel you need before the update. Hopefully you can make a video on which edge panel is needed and We will download it. Cause after the ui 7 update there will be no more edge panel download but whatever you have previously downloaded will stay...

Thanks for the update Saki. Very disappointing about DeX for PC. I never use link to pc, don't care to see a picture of my phone on the computer, may as well just look at the phone screen. What I will find annoying is not having the integration of the keyboard and mouse, that work on the phone and Windows so well. Also, transfer of files, etc. I use DeX for PC way more than DeX to HDMI.

I use Samsung dex a lot as well as link to windows. If I can't connect to my PC and Samsung tablet, then what is the point of owning this smartphone.

I use Phone Link. Never use Dex tbh....it's kinda redundant for me personally. I use Windows if I'm on my laptop. Doesn't mean we shouldn't complain like we did with the removal of the vibrant display option on the S24 me in if you decide to raise hell 😂

This is what Microsoft wants. The Dex makes us different and unique just as the iPhone. The circle to search is not something special to Samsung anymore Android devices do have it now, and taking this out is something I personally don't like. We need to stand different.

One thing I don't understand is why don't companies like samsung keep all the old features and add more and more on top. There is a reason my s23 ultra is still on 5.1.1 and my tab s8 is on 6.1.1 and I'll probably buy the s25 ultra next year separately for corning glass, one ui 7, lighter weight at 219 grams and round edges more comfortable to hold

so DEX pc gone and downloading nieuw panels for edge will also not more possible on 7.0 but f.... Bixby stays, than samsung remove the colors icone notifications apps on AOD, now the icones are to small and have all the same colors,
