Awesome lesson and love your demonstration! If u not comvicted by this powerful lesson something is wrong... We have to worry about ourselves and become better christian. All I can say is God keep me and glad I gave my life to Him. We must love and continue to pray for others and be watchful. Beware of false prophets and be able to know the difference between judgment and discernment. Thank u Pastor! Be bless!

I love my teacher!! The word is explained so clear so you can think or I didn't see it
this way. The Lord bless my life as I keep hearing and follow with the scriptures. It was edifying and up lifting. Awesome and thank you Lord for you Pastor Jones.
Jesus Name is powerful if you use it, it will work but that don't mean they are
for Christ. They are either for Christ or not . But watch it deception is go on.

Also note that Jesus was teaching a "people of God" in the Sermon on the Mount, ... to whom He had given His Law, ... and who had failed to keep it.

There were (in that time) those who considered themselves to following God ... though they were not. These were, in particular, the majority of the Jewish religious leadership. Saul/Paul was an example of such a one as these.

In answering your question, …What do you think about those last verses of our lesson…Do you think it that it is possible for an individual to do these things in the name of Jesus and they do not live a righteous life?
As you have discussed in our lesson, Jesus declares to us to beware of those whose words sound religious but who are motivated by money, fame, or power. As to say, a False prophets teaching will minimize Christ and only glorify themselves. Just as Jesus indicates that false prophets were prevalent in his time, False teachers are prevalent today, too and we need to be watchful and must exercise discernment.
Yes, it is possible, and it is a shame that so many people think that if they are good people and say religious things, he or she will be rewarded with eternal life. However, in reality, it will be an individual faith in Christ that is going to save him or her and Jesus will expose those individuals who sounded religious but had no personal relationship with Him.
Great lesson and thank you for our notes, too. Have a bless week.

When speaking of the Jews, Sons of Scava and casting out evil spirits...although they had no relationship with Christ, is it fair to say that Jesus will always honor His Word?

I have noticed the Lord did not instruct the people to "pull the sheep cover off the wolf"! LOL.

Yes its possible because satan mocked when Moses threw down the sword and it turned into a snake then pharaoh commanded his soldier to do the same. Yes GOD was the winner in the end but we have to remember satan has powers that came from our anointed GOD so yes it could be.

bad doctrine mixed with the good stuff... makes discernment tricky!! Wooo-we!

Don't make too much of these words by Jesus (i.e. "I never knew you") ???

Why should we pay more attention to what Jesus didn't say (which is speculative) ... than to what Jesus explicitly said ?

You said the Holy Spirit only glorifies God? Is this why when Children of the Kingdom receive a compliment for something they’ve done many people instead of says thanks, I always hear them say, “To God be the glory”? And, if I receive a compliment for a play that was put on in my church I always respond, Thank You”. Am I wrong for not outwardly giving God the glory although I know it is because of who He is in my life that He allows these writing to flow through me. And as I am writing and get my thought throw out the night I always acknowledge God. Do you understand my question or am I over thinking things?
