Cars guys find experiences in lambos. Materialistic people find status in lambos.

That’s because your not a car guy. You bought it to show that you are of higher value, not because you actually love the car itself. I believe if your going to buy something material buy it because you love it and the material brings you joy, don’t buy to look or get treated a certain way

You're just not a car guy that's it. You hold value in experiences.

"my life is simple, i go to the gym, i go to the store"...so F'ing relatable!

The comments saying you're not a car guy are true. I bought a BMW M4 which I have wanted for years. Had it now for 2 years and still love that thing. I'll literally wake up on a Sunday morning and just go for a long drive, and often drive the long way home from work just to extend the journey. Now I still spend time customizing it, put on a body kit, and changing downpipes and exhausts etc. It's an expensive hobby to be honest, and I actually kind of wish I wasn't a car guy. Lol

I did a fairly similar thing as this and had the exact same result. It wasn’t a Lamborghini that I bought but a certain Benz I said I’d always get if I had some relative financial success. Sure enough, I got the car and after a few months, I got damn near sick of driving it. I also didn’t like the attention that it was getting. People would now try to talk to me in traffic. I’d been tailed a couple of times by strangers looking to do who knows what. And I started getting pulled over by police. And I’m a careful driver on the road. I don’t speed or show out in any way. Luckily, I learned years before this that materialism fills absolutely no void for me so the car - to me - was simply a mark of success in my own life. No disrespect to anyone if it works for them, I love to see people happy in the things they have so more power to you!

You were looking for attention and validation man. That’s the truth

My whole take on "money can't buy happiness" is that money does, but *objects* can't. Driving a nice comfortable car that is not falling apart is gonna give you more happiness than waiting 20 minutes to get on a crowded smelly bus.. but having your garage filled with expensive cars is not gonna fulfill you on its own beyond the initial dopamine hit.

There are a million ways to use money in a way that is gonna bring you fulfillment and happiness (experiences, investing in your avatar, hobbies, helping out your loved ones, etc) but the idea that you'll find happiness if you just collect more shinny objects is misguided.

Warren Buffet still lives in his house from the 70s.. If you needed an extra large mansion to be happy he'd certainly would have made the move. Just my 2 cents.

He’s right. I bought a corvette two months ago and it’s already getting old. I’m 36 and I’ve been a car guy since a kid. I’m starting to learn material possessions are temporary pleasures.

Facts. I did the same but with a house. Ended up selling it after the high wore off. Never made me happy. Happiness comes from your mindset in life not exterior things

When that 1st car note hit then reality set in that he’s not about that life. 😂😂😂

Sport bike will truly make you happy. It's a drug, and it's addicting. (Unfortunately, those who don’t ride will never understand.)

When you realize that a car really just gets you from point A to B, you realize they aren't as big of a deal as they seem - YES they're great and fun to ride around in, but eventually, it just ends up being another bill to pay

Enjoy the car while you have it, but focus on those life experiences - those are timeless

Like the message, however I think what everyone strives for is to be able to buy a high end car. Knowing that you could but then realizing it wasn’t what you wanted makes sense. I also think experiences & living simply while still pursuing what you want will always hold greater value

Man this is the single best piece of advice you’ve ever given in your channel. Keep giving these young lads more advice like this and to stay off dating apps and focus on themselves instead. It will make you happier long term, trust the process!

i agree with you brother. I might sell my challenger and just travel & invest my money instead of paying 1000 per month.

I agree. Thats why Ive been holdikg out on my "dream car". Why put myself in debt when the dopamine will wear off after 3 months and I'm stuck with that bill. My focus is on travel right now...started off last year in Europe, went to Central America recently..and Im looking to head back to Europe in December. I want some experiences now...buying material things that will keep me tied down isnt on the agenda right now.
